Hudson Mohawke has covered one of John Carpenter’s best known themes for the LuckyMe advent calendar.

‘Escape’ is based around the memorable synth melody of the director’s Escape From New York theme, and follows DJ Paypal’s contribution, ‘No One Else.’

The advent calendar continues until January 6 to create a 12-track compilation of rarities, alternate versions, and new exclusives from the LuckyMe family. Stream and download below.

Carpenter is currently working on four TV shows and is set to make his live debut at ATP Iceland in 2016.
