Nathan Jonson has pieced together a mixtape from a ton of tracks using the famous Think break from Lyn Collins’ 1972 funk hit ‘Think (About It)’.

If you’re not sure what we’re on about, listen to this and go, “oh right, yeah.”

The mix does lean very heavily on recent examples, mind – wot, no EPMD? No Baltimore club?! – and there are some tracks where the original break is almost impossible to identify, but maybe that just proves the malleability of one of the most sampled beats of all time.
