Two distinctly different eras of Bowie return this Record Store Day.
Considering David Bowie’s recent death, it seemed likely Record Store Day would find a way to honor him with a reissue. Turns out they’ll be releasing a pair of picture discs for this year’s sale.
First, they’ll reissue the 1970 album The Man Who Sold The World, which found the singer operating in his initial glam rock mode. It comes printed with the original German artwork pictured below.
Following that, they will release a single of ‘TVC 15’ from 1976’s Station To Station, the cocaine-fueled, krautrock opus made at the peak of Bowie’s Thin White Duke phase. Take a look at the artwork for both below and grab them on Record Store Day, April 16.
