In 2000, Kool Keith, Ice-T, Pimp Rex, Mark Live and Black Silver joined forces as the Analog Brothers for one of the strangest albums in any of their careers.

Now that album, Pimp To Eat, will receive a long overdue reissue through Mello Music Group on June 10.

On Pimp To Eat, each rapper donned their own analog-inspired moniker (Ice Oscillator, Keith Korg, Marc Moog and Silver Synth) to deliver some of their most savage rhymes through the jagged, electronic sound shaped by Body Count-producer Pimp Rex, known here as Rex Roland. It’s a criminally overlooked album and a must listen for anyone who counts themselves a fan of Keith’s Dr. Octagon.

The album will be reissued on CD and digitally followed by a red and black splatter 2xLP release on July 14. Pre-order it here and revisit the track ‘We Sleep Days’ below.
