The guitar version of Coachella, if you will.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the promoters behind Coachella festival, Goldenvoice, are planning a new festival in the fall featuring six legacy rock acts who have never shared a bill before.

The festival would take place in Indio, site of the current Coachella weekenders, with a line-up including Sir Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Roger Waters, The Who, and Neil Young. The three-day festival would feature two acts on each night between October 7 and 9, 2016.

Negotiations are still being finalised so don’t go looking to book your tickets just yet.

Coachella, which kicked off its 2016 edition yesterday, is now the “best-attended and highest-grossing music festival in the world” according to the Times with attendance at 99,000 a day over six days.

If this new festival goes ahead, perhaps they can look to do an EDM vs Rock edition next year.
