Update: On Friday this week Nolay’s Twitter account, which had been updated by her manager, shared a photo of the singer in hospital, after she first regained consciousness following her accident.

Earlier today, the singer seemed to take to her own account to let fans know she is still planning to release more music and to thank those who have prayed for her.

Details about the incident have yet to be confirmed.

Grime MC NoLay is in a critical condition after being involved in a car accident, according to recent posts on her social media accounts.

“Sadly our lovely little angel has been involved in a car accident tonight that has left her in a critical condition,” reads a post on NoLay’s Instagram shared in the early hours of Monday morning. “Our girl is strong and we can only hope that she pulls through it.”

NoLay’s Twitter name has also been changed to “Pray for NoLay”.

The south London MC, also known as Isabella Gotti, first broke through in 2005 as part of the Unorthodox collective, and is currently promoting her new track ‘Gotta Love It’ ahead of her planned EP, Grime, Guts And Glory. [via BBC News]
