Menu items like “California Love Chicken Sandwich” and “Thug Passion cake pops” will be available for one day.
Fresno, CA’s Take 3 Burgers will transform into the Tupac Shakur-themed Powamekka Café next week with a menu and logo allegedly taken from notes and sketches for an LA restaurant idea he had.
The pop-up will take place on September 13, the 20th anniversary of his death, and feature menu items such as “the California Love Chicken Sandwich, Hennessey Apple Butter chicken wings, a Mac-and-Cheeseburger and Thug Passion cake pops (champagne cake with Alize-flavored frosting),” according to The Business Journal
The pop-up will be open all day on September 13 and conclude with a local artist tribute to Shakur’s music.
