We Still Believe may be coming to your town this November.

The Black Madonna (née Marea Stamper) has been DJing globally and in Chicago as a resident DJ at the renowned Smart Bar for years, but is not going to take her skills on a major US tour for the very first time. The We Still Believe Tour will kick off in Boston in November and she’ll hit most coastal metropolitan areas in her short run.

We Still Believe is the name of The Black Madonna’s 2013 release, but it’s also an apt name for a tour at a time when the nightlife climate feels so tenuous. Stamper is an advocate for club conservation. She expressed sadness over the closure of Fabric and spoke out over the possible exploitation of Berghain at the hands of late night host Conan O’Brien. No doubt part of the tour is to get across a message that we need clubs now more than ever.
