Dead or Alive frontman Pete Burns has died of a heart attack at age 57, according to the singer’s Facebook page. The new wave group’s song ‘You Spin Me Round’ peaked no. 11 on the Billboard charts in 1985.

A statement reads: “It is with the greatest sadness that we have to break the tragic news that our beloved Pete Burns, died suddenly yesterday of a massive cardiac arrest… He was a true visionary, a beautiful talented soul, and he will be missed by all who loved and appreciated everything he was and all of the wonderful memories the has left us with.”
