The footwork artist’s new single comes ahead of this year’s Black Origami.

Jlin is releasing a new 12″ on Planet Mu next month.

The two-track Dark Lotus single is the footwork artist’s first new music since last year’s Free Fall EP, and comes ahead of her second album Black Origami, due for release later this year.

According to the label, A-side track ‘The Escape of the Blvck Rxbbit’ is the more traditional of the two, while B-side ‘Nyakinyua Rise’ “races headlong into uncharted territory, with a fierce barrage of djembe drums over pounding bass, punchy war cries and jubilant uluations.”

Dark Lotus will be available on 12″ and digital formats in February – listen to clips at the Planet Mu site.
