Mark Kozelek is back with a new Sun Kil Moon full-length.

The new Sun Kil Moon album, entitled Common As Light and Love Are Red Valleys of Blood, will be released on Friday, February 17 on Rough Trade.

It’s a double album, highlighting Mark Kozelek’s passion for long, sprawling epic songs that’s been his calling card since the Red House Painters days.

The record covers “events from January to August of 2016 and how Mark processed it all while traveling,” according to a Rough Trade listing. And a brand new interview with Bright Eyes’ Connor Oberst reveals some of the album’s themes – Donald Trump, the internet and Kozelek’s relationship with rap music. Sounds like another set of bangers, eh? [via Pitchfork]
