Trance-inducing techno from one of the USA’s best producers.

Brooklyn techno artist Daniel Martin-McCormick, aka Ital, will release a new solo EP on his Lovers Rock label next week.

Hellhole is the first solo record he’s released under the alias since 2015 and features three very different techno tracks, including the pummeling rhythms of ‘Can’t Stand It’ and the fluttering, beatless tones of ‘False Flag’.

The title track, streaming below, combines his love of dub techno with the spacey, trance-inducing loops you’d expect to hear on a DJ Nobu track – perfect 5am material.

Hellhole is the first Ital solo record since 2015, but it isn’t the first music from Martin-McCormick. As well as two collaborative records with Aurora Halal, he’s released three EPs under his new Relaxer alias.

Grab Hellhole on 12″ and digital formats via the Lovers Rock Bandcamp store when it lands on April 3.
