Big Dada brings together grime heavyweights on Grime 2.0 compilation

FACT contributor Joe Muggs assembles a grime compilation for the Ninja Tune sublabel.

At a time when grime is as vital as ever, Joe Muggs and Big Dada’s Will Ashon have compiled 35 exclusive tracks from some of the most important names in the resilient genre.

Grime 2.0 checks every box on the checklist of a successful compilation: from scene originators like Wiley, MRK1, and Youngstar, to second-wave stars Royal T, Preditah, and Faze Miyake, to up-and-coming talents from the UK and around the world.

Preview the compilation with the trailer below; the tracklist follows. Grime 2.0 is due out on May 6 via Big Dada on double CD and digital formats. This is as good a time as any to plug FACT’s 20 best grime records feature.
