America, fuck yeah.

Baltimore’s beardy pop maximalist Dan Deacon has delivered a 22-minute video accompaniment to his ‘USA’ suite from last year’s grandiose America album.

Pieced together from grainy VHS footage, Dean and Adult Swim-associated director and editor Dave Hughes splash psychedelic colours across pixellated and timelapse clips of wolf packs on the hunt, electrified cities, colossal canyons and other eye-popping scenes. Watch it above.

Last week Deacon delivered the fourth track in Adult Swim’s annual singles giveaway, which this year features tracks from El-P and Killer Mike’s Run The Jewels project and Florida teen rapper Kitty.

The composer will also bring his spectacular interactive live set to the Station to Station train tour across the US this summer, joining the likes of lo-fi auteur Ariel Pink and the Dirty Projectors’ Dave Longstreth.
