Mondo and their partner company Death Waltz have a history of providing soundtracks with lavish releases so it was exciting when they announced vinyl reissues of Angelo Badalamenti’s score to the David Lynch series Twin Peaks and its prequel film Fire Walk With Me. Like the series’ revival, there have been delays, but in their latest newsletter the company has provided some good news.

“We’re happy to say Twin Peaks & Fire Walk With Me lacquers were cut last week and are currently winging their way to the plant to be turned into test pressings,” reads the update, adding that the audio was transferred from the original tapes and then mastered for vinyl.
