Having previously shared a booth with Kanye and The Beastie Boys, Santigold has reportedly laid down a track with the runt of the Wolf Gang litter.

As Pitchfork notes, Earl Sweatshirt sent the following tweet to Santigold earlier in the week: “@Santigold the track is ridiculous..i’ll send it soon”. Santi’s reply (“@earlxsweat Sick! Can’t wait…”)  suggests that the two really have been hard at work together. There’s no news on when, or if, the music will see the light of day: as Santi says, “If it turns out dope, you’ll hear it!”

In other collaboration news, Mike Skinner has also been getting around. According to NME, the rapper is currently recording material with troubadour Benjamin Francis Leftwich. In a blog post, Skinner said: “Chilled day in the studio with Benjamin Francis Leftwich. An impressive blue sky approach to guitar tunings”.

Santigold’s new record Master Of My Make Believe drops in April; you can read FACT’s recent interview with her here. Skinner, meanwhile, has an autobiography on the way.
