On Jubilee Sunday, Secretsundaze will be hosting quite the knees-up at Greenwich’s The House Club & Terrace.

Lil Louis heads up a bill worth celebrating. The producer’s place in dance music history is irrefutable, his charm irresistible. Lil Louis and his Bismarck soundsystem were there at the year dot of Chicago house music. His biggest tracks – ‘French Kiss’, ‘Blackout’, ‘Club Lonely’ – are all absolutely canonical, but his career is spotted with fascinating and important moments. Disco, house and techno should be the order of the day, all curated by one of the safest pairs of hands in the biz.

Joining him will be the unassailable Joy Orbison, who continues to whip contemporary clubland into a fevered mess with each of his sporadic singles. ‘Hyph Mngo’, ‘Swims’ and ‘Sicko Cell’ have already cemented his status as one of the decade’s biggest swingers, and his forthcoming ‘Ellipsis’ release is also bang on point. Rounding out the bill is Nyra, resident on Secret Agency. The Sheffield native specialises in techno that goes deep and, on occasion, dark. As usual, James Priestley and Giles Smith will also be on call.

The night runs from 2.00pm until 11.30pm on June 3. Information and tickets are available from the event’s Facebook page.
