The South London duo of Dom Maker and Kai Campos tower over much of the pop-infused “post-dubstep” being made today.

In 2009, the Maybes and Sketch On Glass EPs suggested new, strikingly headphone-friendly shapes for dubstep-derived music. 2010’s debut album Crooks & Lovers was the last major statement from the duo, but it was recently announced that they’ve signed to Warp and have a second LP slated for release in early 2013.

The pair have now revealed their first London show since early 2011: a headline slot at this year’s Ether Festival at the Southbank Centre. The performance will take place on October 13 as part of a night curated by Resident Advisor, with acts spread over two stages at the venue. The rest of the line-up is yet to be announced; further information and tickets can be found here.

Other confirmed Ether events will feature John Cale, Tyondai Braxton, the Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble and more – full listings here. You can listen to the excellent ‘Sketch On Glass’ below.
