This Saturday 18th August, at a secret warehouse location in East London, FWD>> will be celebrating “12 consecutive years of relentless, bass-driven momentum.”

To tell the story how the seminal clubnight got from 2001 to 2012, 12 different DJs will select sounds from a year that they made a particular impact on. FACT can reveal that Hatcha has been confirmed as one of these DJs, and Joker, J:Kenzo, El-B, Youngsta and Elijah & Skilliam have already registered their involvement; given that FWD>>’s centrality to the evolution of London-centric dance music in the 21st century, it’s safe to say it’s going to be a glittering line-up. More info and tickets here.

We’ve got two pairs of free tickets for the party to give away to FACT readers; to enter the draw, simply email your name and the words ‘FWD>> 11th Birthday’ to competitions@thevinylfactory.com. Our winners will be notified by 4pm on Thursday.

Earlier on Saturday evening, Rinse FM will be taking over the Tate Modern Tanks for one night only as part of their young people’s Undercurrent Festival, part of the Tanks: Art in Action series. Tickets for this are free, but booking is required (here). The event runs 7pm-9.30pm.
