Mount Kimbie readies North American tour, will open for Squarepusher

The London duo embark on a fall tour of North America.

We agree that “post-dubstep” is a reductive moniker, but whatever you call it, Mount Kimbie typifies the burgeoning genre, with their mastery of ambient grooves and Burial worship. This fall, the recent Warp signees will support labelmate Squarepusher on a North American tour before hitting the west coast on their own.

Kai Campos and Dominic Maker are currently working on their second album, the follow-up to 2010′s Crooks and Lovers. The tour dates follow the video for C&L standout ‘Carbonated.’
