Angel Haze reschedules European tour to focus on album

The fiery rap upstart pushes back her European tour.

In a move that recalls that of fellow up-and-comer Charli XCX, Angel Haze has rescheduled a set of February dates for May so that she can focus on the recording of her debut album for Universal Republic. Via her Facebook page:

“Hi lovelies, I’m sorry to have to reschedule the Euro tour, but as you all know, I’m a perfectionist. I feel it’s only right to spend more time crafting this album before doing anything else. You guys truly deserve the best of everything with no exceptions. With that said, I hope you guys can understand, and hope to see you on the rescheduled dates. Can’t wait to meet you.”

The new dates are below, along the video for ‘Werkin Girls’. The acid-tongued rapper placed third on the BBC’s Sound of 2013 poll.

May 7 – London, Scala
May 8 – Brighton, Concorde 2
May 10 – Birmingham, Library
May 11 – Manchester, Ruby Lounge
May 12 – Glasgow, ABC 2
