Listen to Egyptrixx's haunting new song, 'Disorbital'

The Night Slugs producer shares a meditative new track.

Last year, David Psutka took a break from his Egyptrixx alias to front Hiawatha, releasing the solemn Language LP. While he held that “Egyptrixx could ever be [his] only outlet,” the producer looks ready to return to his most-familiar project.

Compared to the electro-paranoia of ‘Adult’ (off Night Slugs Allstars Vol. 2), ‘Disorbital (alternate vers.)’ is practically minimal, recalling the most serene moments of his catalog. A heartbeat metronome is the only thing preventing this wash of synths from floating into the atmosphere. Stream the song below; no word yet on whether or not this appears on the forthcoming Egyptrixx LP.
