Frak, TM404, MRSK and Skudge themselves feature on the new label’s first release.

Analogue-loving Swedish duo Skudge, also known for their eponymous record label and sub-labels Skudge Presents and Skudge White, have teamed up with Malmö-based Kontra-Musik to launch a new imprint called SKUM.

The first release is a four-track calling card for Swedish techno featuring contributions from Skudge themselves, MRSK from the Skudge Presents roster, Andreas Tilliander’s analogue-tinkering TM404 alias and resurgent foil-wrapped trio Frak, who announced their own four-track EP for Kontra-Musik last month.

The A-side presents a fast and frenetic, deep-of-the-night pairing from Skudge and MRSK, while on the flip TM404 and Frak offer bubbling analogue grooves of a gentler kind.

SKUM will release SKUM One on limited 12″ later in August – preview the EP below. [via Juno]

A2 MRSK – ‘Less Youth (Culture Mix)’
