The drill superstar drops his first mixtape of 2013.
Chicago’s Chief Keef turned 18 this week, and to celebrate having just three years left to wait until he can taste his first Henny (possibly), he’s finally dropped Bang, Part 2, an 19-track collection of mostly new material.
The tape is a solo effort largely, with just two guests – Tray Savage and Tadoe on ‘Chiefin Keef’ – and it holds few surprises for those familiar with Keef’s hard-as-nails drill style, but we do get a smattering of Autotune (following his Chicago compatriot King Louie) on ‘Bank Closed’ and ‘Aint Done Turnin Up’.
Keef initially previewed the tape back in April (when it was originally slated for release) with ‘Where He Get It’, but that track hasn’t made it to the final cut. Next up for him is an album with producer Zaytoven, the mild-mannered trap rap hitmaker and Gucci Mane collaborator.
