Vodka-peddling mogul rakes it in.

Diddy has topped the 2013 Forbes Cash Kings list of highest-paid hip hop stars, earning $50 million over the past 12 months and beating Jay Z and Dr Dre to second and third place respectively. The success of Diddy’s Ciroc vodka brand was the biggest boost to his earnings, on top of his label Bad Boy, clothing line Sean John and new cable channel Revolt (although that hasn’t even launched yet, so it seems debatable how much cash that venture pulled in).

Nicki Minaj, the only woman on the list, was ranked fourth with an annual income of $29 million, ahead of her Cash Money pals Birdman and Lil Wayne. If anything, the list proves how lucrative those chart pop guest appearances can be, with Ludacris and Pitbull nudging onto the list despite artistically unremarkable years. [via Complex]
