Stream L.I.E.S. compilation Music For Shut-Ins, featuring Legowelt, Marcos Cabral, Svengalisghost and more

The influential New York imprint offers two discs of “hits, misses, new loves and future head scratchers”.

The latest compilation from L.I.E.S. is now streaming on NPR ahead of its release on December 11. Music For Shut-Ins is split across two discs, the first of which contains tracks released in the past year, including material by Svengalisghost and Legowelt, while the second disc is a selection of new material from the likes of Xosar and Beautiful Swimmers.

Label boss Ron Morelli, whose own debut album was released on Hospital Productions this month, described the compilation as “a document of the immediate energy surrounding these musicians here and now, maybe one can call it club music for people who hate going to the club? Or simply ‘Music for Shut-Ins.’”

L.I.E.S. recent releases include the Siamese Connextion 12″ by Entro Senestre and a self-titled 12″ by Parisian producer Voiski.
