Morrissey auctioning signed copy of Autobiography to raise money for PETA

One of a kind book on the block.

Morrissey has put actual pen to paper to sign a single hardcover copy of his recently published Autobiography, which is now being auctioned on eBay to raise money for animal rights organisation PETA.

Bids have already tipped £400 on the book, which normally retails for £30 for the hardcover or the bargain price of £8.99 for the paperback, thanks to the controversial decision to publish the first edition as a Penguin Classic. Bidding ends on December 26.

Morrissey is well known for his hardline stance on animal rights, recently voicing his disgust at the British royal family’s taste for hunting and shooting and President Obama’s “thankskilling” turkey pardon.
