Boots (aka New York’s Jordy Asher) was the most surprising addition to Beyoncé’s surprising fifth album: a mostly-unknown musician who emerged seemingly out of nowhere to produce what he described as 85% of the album.

Today he shares another one of his solo songs, a hazy singer-songwriter number entitled ‘Dust’. Part of the melody is reminiscent of Beyoncé’s ‘Haunted’, which he wrote and produced with the singer.
