Underground Resistance co-founder Robert Hood returns with a pair of remixes under the Floorplan moniker.

Last year’s Paradise was an all-too rare techno album in that it was coherent and incredibly enjoyable. It’s hardly surprising that it should have emerged from the stable of Robert Hood, a producer who’s been around long enough to know how it all works.

Now he’s taken one of the album’s stand out cuts (‘Never Grow Old’) and one of last year’s 12″ highlights (‘Phobia’) and reworked them both for this exciting double-header of remixes. The 12″ will be released on May 26 via Hood’s own M-Plants label, and will be part of the label’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

Hood will also be touring throughout May, taking the Floorplan sound to Europe, and then back home for shows in New York and Detroit. [via XLR8R]
