You might not realize it, but Southport Weekender is the longest-running indoor dance event in the world.

This year the festival returns for a one-off special edition at its spiritual home at Pontins in Southport – the site that made the festival so well-known in the first place. The festival has been running for almost three decades at this point, and this year’s line-up is a testament to its resolve.

Across four arenas, Southport Weekender has rustled up an enviable collection of talent with an emphasis on the masters of their craft, such as drum ‘n bass legend LTJ Bukem, Louie Vega, Soul 2 Soul’s Jazzie B, garage gods The Dreem Team, King Britt, Ashley Beedle, Norman Jay, Gilles Peterson, Joey Negro, Trevor Nelson and loads more.
