Halloween has come a little early.
The collaborative mixtape from imprisoned Atlanta kingpin Gucci Mane and Chicago grim reaper Chief Keef, is now available to purchase a day ahead of its original release date.
Big Gucci Sosa is the pair’s first full release together since first joining forces in the middle of last year. Big Gucci Sosa was originally slated to drop on Halloween, the same day as Keef’s long-awaited Back From The Dead 2 mixtape (which also contains a joint effort from the duo).
The sudden release of Keef’s two mixtapes comes just weeks after the Glo Gang talisman was dropped by his record label Interscope. The ‘Don’t Like’ rapper had previously gone over a year without releasing a full body of work with his last mixtape Almighty So arriving in October last year.
Conversely, Big Gucci Sosa continues the heavy stream of material from Gucci Mane, who has showed little sign of slowing down despite being locked up for over a year. Gucci penned a letter to fans earlier in the week in which he pledged to take his career to the “next level” upon his release from prison, currently scheduled for the end of 2016.
