London producers team up with pianist Tigran Hammasyan for new project.

Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings will release a new album from LV later this year. The album is a collaboration between the London-based producers, now a duo, and Armenian pianist Tigran Hammasyan.

LV are no strangers to collaborations having made a name for themselves with poet Joshua Idehen on Blackdown’s Keysound label and with a string of South African vocalists for their Hyperdub album.

LV and Hammasyan first collaborated for Peterson’s Maida Vale sessions, which earnt them an award at the 2014 Worldwide ceremony. The album builds on this first collaboration with the pianist’s virtuosic playing blended into LV’s catchy, dancefloor-friendly production.

The first taste of the new album is a single called ‘Jump And Reach’, which is available to stream and buy below.
