Following its exclusive release of Prince’s new album, Tidal — a music streaming service — is now selling CD copies for $25. Aside from going against the basic definition of a music streaming platform, the move seems especially bizarre when digital copies are being offered for less than half that price. Imagine if Netflix started selling VHS copies of Avengers: Age Of Ultron for more than it costs to use the service for a month. We’ve probably all been a little too hard on Tidal, but they’re just asking for it here.
