Jerry Heller, the one-time manager of N.W.A., is not happy about his portrayal in the group’s biopic Straight Outta Compton.

Heller is suing for defamation based on inaccuracies he saw in the film (where he’s played by Paul Giamatti) that he says are damaging to him. Many of these involve suggestions that Heller was taking advantage of the group including scenes where he forced Dr. Dre and Ice Cube to sign bad contracts, withheld money, and was generally portrayed as a villain. He also claims his likeness and excerpts from his memoir, Ruthless, were used without his permission.

In addition to $35 million in compensatory damages and $75 million in punitive damages, Heller has also asked for all of the profits from the film.
