The cyberpunk is strong with this one.

Logos, Mumdance and Shapednoise release the first in a series of EPs as The Sprawl this week following their live debut at this year’s CTM festival (not to mention last week’s fearsome set at Corsica Studios in London).

The trio have unveiled the first track from the William Gibson-inspired project ahead of the release of E.P.1 through The Death of Rave tomorrow (November 13).

‘From Wetware to Software’ takes its name from the cyborg themes of the novelist’s Neuromancer series while nodding to the group’s shared love of extreme practitioners like FIS, Pan Sonic and Orphan Drift – not for the faint-hearted.

Stream ‘From Wetware to Software’ below and pick up the EP from Boomkat. For more from The Sprawl, revisit their first live set and read our interview with Logos and Mumdance about the project.
