Mark Kozelek performs to fewer than 25 people in 400-head venue

“I’m tired so I’m just gonna go ahead and do whatever the fuck I want.”

On Tuesday, Sun Kil Moon mastermind Mark Kozelek performed at the Vega in Lincoln, Nebraska, and while the venue can hold approximately 400 people, less than 25 showed up. Throughout his set, he joked about how Pitchfork rated his albums before and after “they found out I was a bad person.”

According to The Daily Nebraskan, he also “poked fun at the primarily male audience saying he missed the days when girls actually came to his shows and then he asked several members of the crowd where their girlfriends were at.”

Stay classy, Mark. [via Stereogum]
