Major 🔑.

DJ Khaled and his We The Best Music Group have signed to Epic Records ahead of the power player’s next album, Major Key.

Epic boss L.A. Reid, who signed Khaled to Def Jam in 2008, called the deal “a blessed reunion”. Khaled added: “It is a very satisfying feeling to realign myself with someone who shares my vision of bringing fans the best music possible.

“When I think about Epic Records the first thing that comes to mind is Michael Jackson’s Thriller. An iconic artist with an iconic album and iconic logo. In short I’d like to thank all the people behind the scenes that helped make this partnership a reality.”

All of which is very nice, but we’re here for the Snapchat, right? Last year Khaled managed to get lost at sea while riding his jet ski at night, but broadcast the whole thing via his favourite app.

Even better, now there’s a dedicated website that randomly generates Khaled’s keys to success.

Khaled dropped into Ebro in the Morning on Hot 97 yesterday to talk about Snapchat, Roc Nation and trying to be vegan – watch below. [via HipHopDX]
