Grimes is the first major music performer to appear.

Claire Boucher, bka Grimes, is set to headline Philadelphia’s comic and pop culture convention Wizard World on June 3. She will appear alongside Captain America’s Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie, David Duchovny from The X-Files and a Back to the Future reunion featuring stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson.

According to Wizard World, Grimes is the first musician of her caliber to perform at a comic con. She will be supported by singer Hana. The convention will tour around America but have yet to announce other musical performers or if Grimes will follow along.

While no release date is “imminent,” Grimes is currently working on new music – “downtempo, synth-y shit” – and is halfway done with a new album. She will be featured with Skrillex on A$AP Ferg’s upcoming Always Strive and Prosper.
