The orchestral album opener gets a leaner live version.

Radiohead kicked off their tour tonight in Amsterdam marking the live debut of many of the songs off their new album A Moon Shaped Pool. They immediately delivered by opening with ‘Burn The Witch’, a song the band has teased live for years at this point.

While the album version is built on a shrieking chorus of strings, the band played that part on bass creating a leaner, more muscular version of the song. They performed every song from the new album with the exception of ‘Glass Eyes’ and the longtime live favorite (and now Moon album closer) ‘True Love Waits’.

Watch the performance of ‘Burn The Witch’ below and take a look at the full setlist one concert-goer shared on Twitter.
