“I met Ben Gibbard, I’m never going to fail.”

Chance the Rapper spent the weekend at Bonnaroo, reports Pitchfork, making guest appearances with J. Cole, Bryson Tiller, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Miguel (the two covered The Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘Juicy’). But this is seemingly not the biggest news from festival.

Dave Depper, who joined Death Cab For Cutie last year to play guitar and keyboards, took to Instagram to post a pic of Death Cab frontman Ben Gibbard and Chance dapping with the caption: “Chance the Rapper: incredibly nice dude, and huge Death Cab fan. Who knew?”

When asked by a fan on Twitter if he’d be working with the group, Chance responded “Big 10-4” (which is ten-code for “affirmative”).

Death Cab aren’t the only indie rockers who want to get into the studio with the Chicago rapper. Beck revealed earlier this month he tried to get Chance on recent track ‘Wow’.
