UPDATE: Grimes has a statement on Twitter saying she will explain “what happened at Barclays once I can safely and legally do so”.
In the meantime, she’s reminded people that fan accounts or “someone from Reddit” are not credible sources and that “speculating about [her] mental health is not news.
She then thanked her fans for support and revealed she has a new song coming out on the Suicide Squad soundtrack titled ‘Medieval Warfare’.

Says she was “having a little trouble keeping it together.”
“We just had a really disturbing thing happen to us today, so sorry if my voice is shaking, it’s just kind of a fucked day,” she told the crowd, before adding that she was having “a little trouble keeping it together.”
The ‘Flesh Without Blood’ artist was opening for Florence and the Machine at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center when her her set was cut short.
FACT has approached Grimes’ spokesperson for comment.
