Rihanna has cancelled tonight’s (July 15) show in Nice in the wake of Thursday’s suspected terror attack on the French city, which left 84 people dead and 18 others seriously injured.

The singer was in Nice at the time of the attack, in which a truck ploughed into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day. A representative for Rihanna has confirmed to Billboard that she is “safe.”

“Due to the tragic events in Nice, my concert scheduled for tomorrow July 15 at Allianz Stadium will not be going ahead as planned. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families,” she wrote on Instagram earlier this morning.
