DJ Shadow and Run the Jewels take on election season in the ‘Nobody Speak’ video

“It’s what I really wish Trump and Hillary would just do and get it over with.”

DJ Shadow enlisted Run the Jewels for ‘Nobody Speak’ from his June-released album The Mountain Will Fall. As ever, El-P and Killer Mike kept it current in their lyrics and director Sam Pilling gave them a video to match their misgivings about America’s political climate.

“We wanted to make a positive, life-affirming video that captures politicians at their election-year best,” DJ Shadow said of the video. “We got this instead.”

None of the artists star in the clip, just a bunch of global politicians who brawl with each other to get things done.

Killer Mike noted: “It’s what I really wish Trump and Hillary would just do and get it over with… And even in that fight I think Hillary would win – and that’s not an endorsement.”
