Chance The Rapper has proved himself to be a proactive voice throughout the US election, encouraging voter registration on his Magnificent Coloring World Tour, firing off viral anti-Trump tweets and performing at a rally for Hillary Clinton in Ohio. Last night (November 7), he took his politics to the streets to lead a massive parade to the polls through downtown Chicago.

Chance took thousands of young people on a march through Chicago’s Loop, starting at outdoor concert theatre Grant Park’s Petrillo Music Shell – where he had thrown a free block party earlier that evening – and ending up at an early voting “super site” on 15 W. Washington Street. Voters were able to cast their votes on 100 touchscreen voting machines.

The block party, hosted by Chance’s non-profit, Social Works, featured performances from Twin Peaks, Malcolm London, Chance’s brother Taylor Bennett, and Chance himself. Watch footage of the party and the parade below. [via CoS]
