The rapper’s new venture “is going to take us to a different mindset,” say 300 Entertainment.

Young Thug has announced the launch of his own record label, YSL Records, which will operate as an imprint of 300 Entertainment.

The Atlanta rapper shared the news on his Snapchat, giving fans a glimpse of the YSL office, team and logo.

In a toast to Thugga’s new project, 300 Entertainment co-founder Kevin Liles said: “The most important thing I could say to all of you guys, is not whether it was 300 or YSL – look at the guy who committed to us every single day.”

“Always standing 300 with us. Him starting a new venture is going to take us to a different mindset,” he added. “He’s not just an artist in this particular case.”

YSL Records have yet to announce any signees but it’s thought that Thug’s friend and collaborator Duke will be on the roster.

Young Thug is currently in the middle of his HIHORSE’D US tour together with 21 Savage, with stops in Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Houston, and New York still to come.

In August, Thug dropped his ‘No, My Name is Jeffrey’ mixtape, which featured songs inspired by his idols including Wyclef Jean, Gucci Mane and Harambe.

Earlier this week, the 25-year-old rapper shared a music video for ‘Jeffrey’ cut ‘Webbie’. Watch below.
