Fetty Wap may have just released mixtape Zoovier, but he’s in no shortage of new material. Today, he’s dropped ‘Like a Star’, a new track full of island vibes both on the beat and in the Trinidadian patois deployed by guest Nicki Minaj.

Minaj was quiet, musically, for most of 2016. She dropped two freestyles this fall and a sessions leftover from 2014’s The Pinkprint called ‘Ain’t Gone Do It’ in conjunction with her new RPG Nicki Minaj: The Empire. ‘Like a Star’ is one of very few guest verses she’s released this year, including her standout remix of Yo Gotti’s ‘Down in the DM’.
