A strong one from the Odd Future affiliate.

Syd, frontwoman of neo-soul shapeshifters The Internet, has released her first solo album Fin.

It follows The Internet’s 2015 critically-acclaimed album Ego Death and is released one week after her key collaborator Matt Martians released his first solo album The Drum Chord Theory. While Martians works with Syd on The Internet, he also produced as part of The Jet Age of Tomorrow, who worked on The Odd Future Tape and The OF Tape Vol. 2.

Fin is a much breezier effort than The Internet’s output, as evidenced by the lead single ‘All About Me’, which played with swag rap but implemented Syd’s signature serenity. The album also features a guest appearance from FACT rapper to watch in 2017 6LACK. Check it out below.
