The rap icon recounts his rise, fall and redemption.

Gucci Mane has unveiled his upcoming memoir, The Autobiography Of Gucci Mane, with new details including the release date and cover.

Originally started during his time in prison, the book charts the rapper’s early success, incarceration and hugely successful come back upon release. It features contributions from former XXL editor Neil Martinez-Belkin.

“[Gucci] confronts his dark past — years behind bars, the murder charge, drug addiction, career highs and lows — the making of a trap god,” the book description reads. “It is one of the greatest comeback stories in the history of music.”

The memoir is due September 19 and can be pre-ordered here. Take a look at the cover below courtesy of the author.
