John Legend played a surprise gig in the middle of one of London’s busiest commuter hubs on Wednesday morning.
The 10-time Grammy winner stopped to play a few songs on the piano at St Pancras station’s concourse, quickly attracting a sizeable crowd of passers-by and fans. Watch back a live stream of the performance below.
Legend hinted that he was planning to perform in a tweet, sent just as he was arriving from Paris.
The singer is promoting his forthcoming world tour, which is due to reach the UK in September. He released his fifth studio album Darkness and Light in December.
Last month, the internet had a field day clowning Legend after a Twitter user pointed out his uncanny resemble to children’s cartoon aardvark Arthur.
