Rave on, Stormz.
Following Stormzy’s #MERKY monthly residency in Ibiza last year, the grime star has been invited back to curate a one-day festival at Ibiza Rocks.
The #MERKY Festival, which takes place July 11 at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, will feature a mixture of daytime poolside sets, main stage performances and indoor hangouts, as well as a closing performance from headliner Stormzy.
No word on the lineup as yet, but according to the press release Stormzy promises to host “some of the best UK talent.” Check the Ibiza Rocks website for tickets and more info.
Last month, the south London MC dropped his debut album Gang Signs & Prayer, which went to no.1 in the UK charts and beat Drake in the streaming stakes, racking up the most first-week streams for a no. 1 album in chart history.
